Optimal Readiness Decision Making Evaluation

DDM TOOLS

By using the following tool you will promote optimal activity of the areas of the brain necessary for decision making. For daily decisions, areas of the brain that recall and reuse successful patterns of the past are better prepared to make efficient selections. And for Struggling Moments, the areas of the Deliberate decision system will be ready to up-regulate and maintain up-regulation. Through following the recommendations the factors that can cause down – regulation are also mitigated.

Optimizing the brain for decision-making is accomplished in phases.  Any of the phases may have deficiencies that can lead to poor decision-making performance.

  • 1. Sleep Routine – The night before
  • 2. Awakening routine – The morning of the decision making
  • 3. Daily Routine – The other daily activities that can impact decision-making
  • 4. Pre-Decision Making Routine – Before decision making
  • 5. During Decision Making – Completing the Automatic and Deliberate decision making including the use of tools
  • 6. Rest Periods – Managing energy levels is critical for decision-making to minimize down-regulation back into habits and patterns that are no longer working
  • 7. Post-Decision Impact Summary – Assessment of the impact of the decision made
