Age 18 to 20 Lesson 3.3 – Deliberate Decision Making Pathway (DDMP)

  1. Cognitive Domain (Knowledge-Based)
    1. The student will recall the purpose of each step in the Deliberate Decision-Making Pathway (DDMP) by listing each step and describing its role in managing decision-making and supporting ACC up-regulation.
    1. The student will define the role of task induction in DDMP and its effect on brain area activation by explaining how task induction is used within the DDMP to stimulate brain areas for optimal performance.
  2. Affective Domain (Attitude-Based)
    1. The student will express the importance of sequential steps in DDMP for deliberate decision-making by discussing the significance of following the DDMP steps in sequence to support effective decision-making and reduce errors.
    1. The student will demonstrate an interested in structured decision-making processes by acknowledging the benefits of a structured approach to complex decision-making and its role in reducing anxiety and uncertainty.
  3. Psychomotor Domain (Skill-Based)
    1. The student will engage in a simple DDMP exercise to support ACC activation by following the initial DDMP steps to understand how structured steps stimulate the ACC and other brain areas.
    1. The student will demonstrate the process of recording decision steps as part of DDMP practice, documenting each step in the DDMP to support consistent and reliable decision tracking.
